On iTrader’s evaluation (DEMO) and LIVE accounts, creating two accounts and placing opposite trades between them is strictly prohibited. However, hedging within a single account is allowed.
What is considered a “hedging” trade?
Hedging refers to opening trades in opposite directions at the same time.
Example:
On one account, you open a BUY position for the EUR/USD pair.
On another account, at the same time, you open a SELL position for the same pair.
What is allowed?
You can hedge within a single account, meaning open opposite positions on the same pair.
Example:
On one account, you open both a BUY and a SELL position for EUR/USD.
This is considered a valid trading strategy and is allowed.
What is prohibited?
You are not allowed to open opposite trades on two different accounts (whether evaluation or LIVE).
Opening opposite positions on the same pair across multiple accounts is forbidden.
If detected, all your accounts may be terminated, you may be disqualified from the challenge, and your registration may be permanently banned.
